A Message from Beth M. Foley
Nearly six months ago, we launched Edison for the Record to ensure facts have a place to stand on their own.
In that time, we’ve learned a lot. Colleagues have shared how much they appreciate seeing us defend accuracy when reporting falls short, and how frustrating it is when biased or misleading stories overshadow the real work being done. At the same time, many reporters are getting it right — telling difficult stories with accuracy and integrity, even under pressure. Their work deserves recognition, and we value partnering with them to provide the public with reliable information.
