A serious injury or loss of life is never something we take lightly – it affects our entire community. We work with contractors to educate them about SCE’s safety standards. We stop work to conduct safety standdowns and hold contractors accountable by ensuring they thoroughly investigate incidents and take steps to prevent these incidents from happening again. Through our social media accounts and our ENERGIZED website, we provide safety information for stakeholders, customers and communities, including guidance on avoiding downed wires, safe digging, tree trimming and emergency preparedness.
It boils down to this: Safety is and will continue to be the top priority at Edison International and SCE. Our 14,000 dedicated employees remain unwavering in their commitment to protecting everyone we have the privilege to serve.
